A new program is set to replace TigerTrak next month to increase usability.
TigerTrak, a career planning resource for University students, is currently powered by MonsterTrak, the college division of Monster.com.
The new software will include access to job postings, on-campus interviews listings, upcoming events, registration for workshops and the ability to upload resumes and portfolios.
“What we’re trying to do is to make this a one-stop shop for the services that we provide electronically,” said Sara Crow, Career Services communications manager. “It should be more user friendly for the students.”
Career Services is actively seeking name suggestions for the new service. Crow said she would like to see the words “job” or “career” in the title .
“What we’re looking for is a name that will encompass all of the different services that would be accessible through the new system,” she said.
Crow said students should be receiving an e-mail about the new software within the next few days.
