The University Trial Court met Tuesday afternoon to hear a complaint filed by Jeffrey Noel against Jacob Gower, Student Government election commissioner.
Noel argued he was justified in the time frame during which he filed seven complaints against SG President-Elect Colorado Robertson for inaccurate expenditure reports.
Gower, SG Election Board chair, said he will hear the case but he wants a definitive ruling about whether Noel filed the complaints in a timely manner because an SG Election Code discrepancy.
“If you will grant the Election Board the power to hear these cases, we will hear these complaints,” Gower said.
Rob Dowie, University Trial Court judge, served as University clerk of court for the meeting and recessed before delivering a verdict.
