The LSU Board of Supervisors is meeting next Thursday and Friday to take up approval of football coach Les Miles’ amended contract, according to a news release.
Incoming Athletic Director Joe Alleva and men’s basketball coach Trent Johnson’s contracts will also be taken up for approval.
Also on the agenda is a proposal from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center to increase tuition and boost nonresident fees.
The Board will also get an update on the search for the new chancellor of the LSU Health and Sciences Center in Shreveport.
Elsewhere in the LSU System, the University of New Orleans is seeking approval of a conditional, one year agreement to create the New Orleans Jazz Institute. Jazz trumpet play Irvin Mayfield agreed to serve as the Artistic Director, and New Orleans famed musician Ellis Marsalis will serve as Director of Development.
