Cornerback David Gordon made a verbal commitment Saturday to play football for Arkansas, according to the Associated Press.
Gordon turned down scholarship offers from LSU, Oklahoma and more than 20 other universities.
Gordon, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, runs a 4.4 sec, 40-yard dash and recorded times of 10.41 seconds in the 100-meter and 21.22 in the 200-meter dashes at Tulsa East Central.
Gordon snagged 11 receptions for an average of about 30 yards per catch and six touchdowns as a wide receiver.
He recorded 23 unassisted tackles and five interceptions despite missing four games this past season with a high ankle sprain.
