LSU’s men’s basketball team showed few signs of rust Saturday night in the PMAC after an 11-day break from game action.The Tigers (7-0) blew out Grambling State, 87-41, behind a strong defensive effort and hot shooting from the field.LSU shot 63 percent from the field and held Grambling to 27 percent shooting. Senior guard Marcus Thornton led LSU with 18 points in only 20 minutes of action. Senior Terry Martin came off the bench to add 16 points, 12 of which came from behind the 3-point line.LSU outrebounded Grambling, 35-23, and had 24 assists compared to Grambling’s two.
