LIfeAwaits performs first benefit concert

Life awaits New Orleans. And on Saturday night, that life was in Lafayette.
Grant Street Dance Hall hosted LifeAwaits’ first benefit concert with Deacon John, the Ivories, Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers, among others. The bands played hard for their city. Because at this point in time, Deacon John said the progress that has been made is “only the tip of the iceberg.”
