Retired professor pleads guilty to manslaughter — 10:20 a.m.

Retired University professor Claude Vandeloise pleaded guilty Wednesday to manslaughter and obstruction of justice, The Advocate reported today.
The report said Vandeloise, 62, 840 Park Blvd., ultimately caused his wife’s death almost three years ago after striking her in the neck and chin.
Vandeloise was a French studies professor.
