CBS followed MSNBC in firing Don Imus from his simulcast today, the Associated Press reported.
Imus initially received a two-week suspension on both networks.
Imus came under high criticism after calling the Rutgers University women’s basketball team “nappy-headed hos” on the air last week, shortly after the team competed in the NCAA women’s tournament.
