Those attending the annual Carlotta Street block party Saturday night will not be allowed to loiter in the street or obstruct traffic, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department .
Though BRPD said people will be allowed to walk in the street.
“There will be no vehicles allowed unless they live there, or if they have a legal place to park, so people need to be forewarned that they can’t just park on the streets,” said Don Kelly, BRPD spokesman.
Kelly said BRPD approached Carlotta Street residents door-to-door this week to announce the roadways will remain open to traffic.
