Longtime University administrator Randy Gurie is retiring, Director of Public Affairs Kristine Calongne told The Daily Reveille on Friday.
Gurie is in charge of Leadership LSU. He is also the adviser for the University’s chapter of Kappa Sigma. Gurie has been at the University for nearly 38 years. Calongne said he did not know Gurie’s exact retirement date but said, “It’s my understanding that he’s moving his stuff out of his office.”
She said she expects him to retire very soon. She said Gurie’s duties will be distributed among various positions at the University.
