LSU defeated the No. 11 Missouri Tigers by a final score of 197.425-195.425 before a crowd of 10,002 at the PMAC Friday night.
The win extends the Tigers’ home winning streak to 24 meets, and they now sit at 5-0 on the season, and are the last undefeated team in the SEC.
The team has scored a 197 or better in 13 straight meets, one shy of the record of 14 set between the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
Junior Myia Hambrick and senior Ashleigh Gnat opened the meet by each scoring 9.95 on the vault.
Freshman Ruby Harrold scored a 9.875 on bars. She led all Tigers who posted a team score of 49.250 on that rotation.
Sophomore Sarah Finnegan had a strong showing on the beam, landing a triple wolf turn and posting a 9.95.
On floor, Gnat posted a 9.950 and freshman Kennedi Edney posted a 9.825 and ignited the PMAC in the process.
The Tigers’ next meet is on Friday, Feb. 10 at Arkansas.
