Tommy Clapp is known as a legendary Tiger. In his four years as defensive back, Clapp appeared in four bowl games, including an SEC Championship.
His son, junior offensive lineman Will Clapp, is following in his footsteps in becoming an LSU great.
“Tommy was tough and his son is just the same way,” Coach Orgeron said. “He’s tough.”
In 2016 Will received First Team All-SEC honors by his coaches. He has started in each of his three seasons at LSU.
Looking forward, Clapp and his team enter Volunteer territory this weekend as they take on an un-ranked Tennessee team. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. central on ESPN.
