The Tigers (3-2, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) have fallen out of the polls (Coaches, AP)before its bowl season for the fourth straight season, something that has not happened since 1998 to 2001.
LSU has dropped two of its last three games by a combined score of 61-28 to Mississippi State (3-2, 1-2 SEC) and Troy (4-1).
LSU’s next two games are both against ranked opponents in Florida (3-1, 3-0 SEC) and Auburn (4-1, 2-0 SEC).
