Les Miles will return to Tiger Stadium for the first time in 56 weeks on Saturday.
LSU is honoring its 2007 national championship team this weekend against Auburn, and according to a report by The Advocate, coach Miles will attend.
The “Mad Hatter” coached LSU to a Southeastern Conference championship and its second BCS title in school history during the 2007 season. The Tigers finished with a 12-2 record, and defeated Ohio State 38-24 in BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans.
Miles was fired in Sept. 2016 following LSU’s last second loss to Auburn, and was replaced by Ed Orgeron, who was later given the full-time head coaching job.
