LSU football’s recent success against SEC rivals continued this weekend against Ole Miss, with the tigers topping the rebels, 40 to 24.
But the work doesn’t end there for Ed Orgeron.
On Sunday, he was in Texas recruiting, looking to fill in gaps in and create depth with the class.
Orgeron and staff will take advantage of the bye weekend, continuing scouting on Thursday and Friday.
Orgeron says, the Tigers need to stay focused on their remaining schedule.
“The guys were excited,” Orgeron said. “The guys were saying, ‘coach you know we are proud of your team for fighting back.’ A lot of guys want to be Tigers right now, but obviously we have got to finish really strong. We have four strong opponents.”
LSU’s next game is in Tuscaloosa against No. 1 Alabama on Nov. 4.
