LSU Running Back, Derrius Guice, spoke on his excitement about the Tiger’s first game. The Tigers will host the BYU Cougars Saturday September 2nd in the Mercedes Benz Superdome. 
“I’m ready to play,” Guice said. “Especially now since it’s in New Orleans.”
This will be the third season that the Tiger’s schedule has been changed due to inclement weather. The game was to be played in NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. 
However with Hurricane Harvey damaging the Southern portion of Texas, it seemed changing the game’s location was the best possible solution. 
Guice hopes the season will get off to a good start in the Crescent City.
