The LSU NPHC organization Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. held their event, Wild Out Wednesday: Strolling For a Cause on Wednesday the 25th.
The event was to raise awareness and accept donations for their philanthropy, Project Cradle Care which helps to bring awareness to prenatal and postnatal care for children.
“So, SGRho week is just a week to basically bring awareness to our sorority and the things that we are involved in and also to basically get our philanthropy work out there,” said member Erika Brown.
Along with community service, the event was a way for various NPHC members to interact and stroll together.
Organizations in attendance were Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
