After DJ Magazine once again named him the No. 1 DJ in the world, Armin Van Buuren released “Mirage” and showed everyone he has not sold out. With a mix of instumental and vocal tracks, Buuren incorporates actual instruments like drums and violins into his music. This noticeable effect makes the music sound fresh and real. Sounding futuristic, “Mirage” has a timeless feel with its trance-like nature. “Mirage” has some hiccups that occur in some of the first vocal collaborations. But, the instrumental tracks are where Buuren shines, like the title track “Mirage” and “Full Focus.”
