A romantic comedy about the ups and downs of a long distance relationship, “Going the Distance” satisfies both parts of its genre. Forced to stretch romance across 3,000 miles, the characters adjust their modern relationship to decide which is more important — individual identity or undeniable love. Actors Drew Barrymore and Justin Long accurately portray the chemistry between their characters. Combining witty one-liners and crude sexual content, the film delivers several side-splitting moments but lives up to its “R” rating.
