The Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture will hold its annual Design Week Jan. 25-29. The expanded program will feature presentations and design workshops by four nationally recognized designers on a beloved LSU theme- tailgating. The four landscape architects leading the 5-day symposium are Scott Pobiner, an assistant professor of design and management at Parsons- The New School for Design in New York City; Ivan Valin, a landscape designer with Tom Leader Studio in Berkeley, Calif.; Liz Burow, an artist and designer at Wave Hill Fellow in Brooklyn, N.Y.; and Beau Trinica, an environments designer with IDEO in San Francisco. Public lectures will take place each morning before the workshops at 10 a.m. in the common area of the Design Building. Students will present their final designs on Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. A jury show will award the best presentation and a tailgating party will follow in the commons of the Design Building.
