The LSU swimming and diving teams have completed their first day of competition and will conclude their respective meets starting at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
The No. 17 ranked Tigers have jumped out to a fast start over The University of New Orleans, holding a 122-42 lead as they prepare to finish competition tomorrow.
The No. 24 ranked Lady Tigers also hold an advantage over their three opponents. Going into tomorrow’s competition, they lead Rice, 121-58, Tulane, 139-42, and Houston, 106-78.
Junior Jane Trepp and sophomore Mary Back both had a pair of wins. Trepp won the 100-yard butterfly and the 50-yard freestyle, while Beck won the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard individual medley.
Freshmen Zack Wepasnick also recorded two victories for the men, winning the 200-yard breastroke and the 200-yard I.M.
