The French robots known as Daft Punk, who have brought us “Homework,” “Discovery” and “Human After All,” have brought their music to the big screen with their original soundtrack for the film “Tron: Legacy.” The duo have enlisted the help of an orchestra to produce a soundtrack filled with emotion and imagery fit to portray the Tron universe. The album is an elegant and suitable soundtrack but lacks the duo’s experimental risk-taking. Listeners should be warned that if they’re searching for the standard Daft Punk sound, they may be disappointed in what they hear.
