LSU beach volleyball sophomores Claire Coppola and Kristen Nuss were named the National Pairing of the Week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and CollegeBeachVB.com while earning the conference pairing of the week by the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association.
Coppola and Nuss were 4-0 in the Gamecock Grand Slam posting wins over No. 11 Georgia State, No. 7 South Carolina and No. 1 Pepperdine. The pair have now defeated top ranked Pepperdine twice this season.
Coppola and Nuss started the season off strong going 8-0 and are 12-4 on the season.
This is their second selection as the CCSA pairing of the week this season, the only pairing to earn that honor twice.
