BATON ROUGE- After dropping three games in a series against Tennessee over the weekend, LSU softball was back in action Tuesday, hosting the first game of a five game home stand against Northwestern State.
LSU hitting dominated scoring 8 runs in 5 innings to end the game, led by starting pitcher Allie Walljasper who hit a grand slam.
Walljasper was also dominant on the mound pitching 4.2 inning of no run softball.
