For the first time since 2014, the LSU women’s basketball team has broken into the AP Top 25, the Associated Press announced on Monday.
LSU currently sits at No. 24 in the country as they prepare to go on the road and face No. 7 South Carolina on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 5:30 p.m.
The team’s new ranking comes behind a string of impressive wins, including four against Top 25 teams. After its most recent 62-57 win over Arkansas, the Lady Tigers are 18-7 and 10-4 in the Southeastern Conference.
