LSU baseball improved their record to 4-2 on Saturday after defeating the University of Texas Longhorns.
The Tigers came back from a 5-0 deficit by scoring five runs in the fifth inning with five more to follow unanswered.
LSU senior Austin Bain had two hits and one run, batting .400 before stepping in as closeout pitcher.
Head Coach Paul Mainieri said the game “felt like a super regional” and was “a wonderful win.”
The Tigers will face the Longhorns once again Sunday, February 25th.
