A lot of work goes into making LSU game day as flawless as possible.
The LSU band is just one example of the preparation behind a Saturday night in Death Valley.
The band practices their pregame and half-time performances four times a week for over 10 hours total.
The Associate Director of Bands Dennis Llinás says during friday practices a drone is used to help with member corrections in order to nail the performance before Saturdays.
This week the band is performing in more shows than normal, including a performance on the College Gameday show that airs on ESPN.
Llinás said, “Last year’s show went viral, it had 12 million views or something like that. So this year’s veterans day tribute we are doing a history of our country.”
Both the band and LSU fans are excited for this weekends matchup.
