It may have been Joe Burrow’s first game as an LSU Tiger, but he didn’t seem too shaken up about suiting up in the purple and gold for the first time in Arlington, Tex. against Miami Sunday.
In fact, he looked poised and confident. He played that way, too.
First time starting RB Nick Brossette looked just as sure headed as Burrow. So much so, in fact, that he ran for 50-yards for a TD, and later snuck past the goal line on a fourth-down-and-one-yard opportunity.
Coach O admits the offense wasn’t perfect. Time outs were called early and there were some missed opportunities.
However, LSU still managed to defeat #8 University of Miami 33-17 at AT&T Stadium.
The Tigers take on Southeastern at the first home game of the 2018 season Saturday, Sept. 8.
