Junior wide receiver Drake Davis was arrested Friday night and charged with second degree battery, according to NOLA.com.
Davis is accused of breaking a woman’s ribs in April. Davis also is accused of strangling, punching and ripping an earring from her ear in June, according to the police report obtained by WBRZ.
He has been suspended indefinitely from the team. During his LSU career, Davis had four receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
Coach Ed Orgeron declined to comment any further stating it was a legal matter and confirming that Davis has been suspended indefinitely.
