Elias Ricks, the No. 1 cornerback in the class of 2020, committed to LSU on Tuesday.
Ricks’ commitment comes less than a week after Derek Stingley Jr., the No. 1 cornerback in the class of 2019, signed with LSU. Ricks is the ninth member of LSU’s 2020 class, which ranks second in the nation.
Ricks, 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, is ranked as the No. 9 overall prospect in 247sports.com’s composite rankings. He is LSU’s first high school commitment from California since Hayden Rettig in 2013.
