A two-car vehicle crash occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Nicholson Drive and North Stadium Road, according to Sgt. Blake Tabor, LSU Police Department spokesman.
Tabor said the two drivers involved in the accident are believed to be University students.
One student was driving north on Nicholson and attempted to turn left, Tabor said. When the student turned, the student struck another vehicle, sending it into a light pole.
The student suffered minor injuries and is being treated at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Tabor said.
The student who attempted to turn was not injured, he said.
