Making a good blues album is easier said than done. Despite the few requirements associated with blues music, there are few truly good blues bands left. Hot Tuna is one of the few bands still churning out amazing blues rock. But that shouldn’t come as a surprise considering two of the former members of Jefferson Airplane started Hot Tuna back in the ’60s. Despite the band members’ impressive age, “Steady As She Goes” is a flawless album that proves the rock gods still have what it takes to make fantastic music.
