Jennifer Lopez’s new LP “Love?” re-asserts Lopez’s pop-R&B domination. With formulaic constructions, the album relies on hit producers like RedOne, StarGate and “Tricky” Stewart to give it the mainstream spin Lopez’s previous LPs lacked. Her previous two “buzz-singles” are nowhere to be seen, instead being substituted for electronic-tinged R&B. Standout tracks include singles “I’m Into You” and “On the Floor.” Though the album may not be anything special compared to other releases earlier this year, Lopez hits her first high note since her well-received “This is Me… Then” LP.
