The University is working with the College of Management of the National Taiwan University to create research and exchange programs for the future.
The two universities signed a letter of intent in September and October, which may lead to joint work, guest lectures and the exchange of students, faculty and educational material.
The letter is valid for five years and was signed by Chancellor Michael Martin and Eli Jones, dean of the E. J. Ourso College of Business, and by respective parties in Taiwan.
Ye-Sho Chen, ISDS professor and Emerging Markets Initiative director, said the University has already established relationships with important international communities and markets including China, Brazil and India.
