Preliminary work has begun at the site of a new Walgreens drug store on the corner of Highland Road and Lee Drive.
Jonathan Lanza, vice president of Landco Construction, said construction on the building should begin in a month.
“Right now we’re getting the site up to grade so we can build,” he said.
Lanza said Walgreens stores are normally close to 15,000 square feet, and the building should be complete by May at the latest.
