A court hearing to decide further legal action against LSU Vet School employee Marc Boudreaux that was scheduled for today has been postponed for the second time until Nov. 17.
Judge Pamela Baker of the East Baton Rouge Family Court granted a continuance on whether or not to grant a protective order for graduate student Elizabeth Lum. Lum’s attorney requested the continuance.
Boudreaux, who was accused of sexual abuse and harassment, was served a restraining order on Oct. 17.
Boudreaux was given a new modified temporary restraining order during today’s hearing. Baker said because both parties work at the same place, it was modified so it wouldn’t interfere with employment.
Jill Craft, Boudreaux’s lawyer, said they were ready to go to trial.
“We are looking forward to trial so Marc can defend himself against these false and defamatory allegations,” Craft said.
