The 2nd annual Red, Rock and Blue Celebrity/Sorta Celebrity Softball Game takes place tonight at 6:30 at Cyprus Mounds Baseball Complex.
The event features professional athletes like Joe Horn, Kevin Faulk, Doug Thompson and Marcus Thorton, as well as celebrities such as “Swamp People” star Troy Landry. The line-up also includes many “sorta celebrities” such as local media personalities and business people.
The game is part of Red, Rock and Blue Weekend, a charity event organized by WAFB Sports Anchor Jacques Doucet, which will also feature a 40 team softball tournament and a concert Saturday night at the Varsity Theatre, featuring The Atomic Punks, Motley Inc., Appetite for Destruction and David St. Romain.
The concert starts at 7. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $65 for V.I.P.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Support Our War Heroes and Blue Star Mothers.
