“I’m With You,” the tenth studio album from Red Hot Chili Peppers, is the band’s first release since the departure of lead guitarist John Frusciante, and they’ve returned with a new member and a fresh sound. Replacing Frusciante is Josh Klinghoffer, who brings a more subtle, yet texturized, sound than his predecessor. Other factors of the Peppers’ new flavor can be attributed to incorporating more instruments. Piano is prevalent in several songs as well as beats from Brazilian percussionist Mauro Refosco. Lead singer Anthony Kiedis’ vocals are as smooth as ever. All in all, the band has a more focused sound than on their 2006 album, “Stadium
