11:38 p.m. — The LSU Police Department has reported armed suspects near Kirby Smith Hall and the Hart Lot. The suspects are black males wearing black hoodies.
Isaiah Owens, music education senior and resident assistant in Kirby Smith Hall, said the victim — a resident of Kirby Smith — was walking from Wendy’s on Lake Street to Kirby Smith when two men armed with a gun demanded the victim’s money. The victim told the suspects he didn’t have any cash, and the suspects then took his iPod.
Owens said LSU police arrived at Kirby Smith around 10:55 p.m.
LSUPD recommends students stay away from the area until notified.
