Two weeks into camp, LSU sophomore wide receiver Tyron Johnson announced via twitter that he is transferring.
Johnson, who was rated as the No. 1 wide receiver coming out high school in 2015, played in nine games last season and caught nine passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
The 6-foot-1, 189 pound wide out spent the first few practices with the freshman and select veteran squads in the afternoon.
Johnson, a New Orleans native, said LSU has already granted him his release.
