LSUPD arrested two individuals last week for remaining on campus after being forbidden.
An officer patrolling the Quad April 29 observed Linda Aldridge, 50, of 837 Steel Blvd., Baton Rouge, using computers in Coates Hall at 2:04 a.m., said LSUPD Lt. Lawrence Rabalais.
The officer told Aldridge not to return to campus unless she had official business. At 9:07 p.m. the same day the officer found her in the Quad again and arrested her.
Police arrested Aldridge and issued her a misdemeanor summons for remaining after being forbidden.
In a separate incident, police arrested Donald Henry on May 2 for remaining after being forbidden.
While on patrol at the Law School, an officer received a suspicious person report. The report said an individual was walking the first and second floors of the building, Rabalais said.
From the description, the officer identified the subject and performed a field interview — where the officer checks records to see if the individual previously has been told to not return to campus, Rabalais said.
Rabalais said police previously encountered Henry September 2002 and advised him not to return to campus.
The officer arrested Henry and issued him a misdemeanor summons for remaining after being forbidden.
