Acoustic rock singer and songwriter Edwin McCain will perform at the PMAC for a Student Government-sponsored concert April 23.
Sister Hazel and the Pat Mcgee Band will open for McCain.
The money for the concert comes from the Programming, Support and Initiatives Fee. Broussard said SG set aside about $20,000 from the PSIF fund at the beginning of the year specifically for a PMAC concert.
Broussard said SG hopes the concert will help bring life back to the PMAC and turn it into a popular venue for music groups to play.
SG will announce ticket prices and a specific time at a later date. Broussard said SG will sell student tickets at a discounted price.
