LSU Law professor Ken Levy’s return to the classroom today has been postponed after a ruling from the Louisiana First Circuit Court of Appeal.
The court issued a hold Thursday morning to take more time reviewing the transcripts of prior court proceedings held at the19th Judicial District Court.
This decision follows after Levy was placed on administrative leave for making controversial statements about both Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and President Donald Trump during a class lecture.
Levy’s original order to return to the classrooms on Tuesday February 11, had been greenlit while the university continued to investigate his alleged conduct internally.
