LSU Football spring practice continues this week as the team prepares the fall.
This week it looks like the cornerbacks are heating up and it could be due to coaching. Defensive Back coach Corey Raymond, is a recruiting mastermind, and is bringing all the pieces to lsu to return them to that DBU status.
Senior Mansoor DeLane says Raymond’s work ethic is one of the things that drew him in.
“It speaks for itself,” DeLane said. “His history, the lineage of DB’s he brings in and puts in the league, you see what Derek Stingley just did. So, it spoke for itself, I’m trying to be next in line.”
Stingley, now a Defensive Back for the Houston Texans, signed a three-year, $90 million contract with $89 million guaranteed.
LSU will continue practice leading up to their season opener against Clemson on August 30.
