LSU Football held its sixth Spring practice of the year on Monday, March 25th.
The team continued tackling, drilling 1v1s with both lines. The offensive linemen DJ Chester, Tyree Adams, Bo Bordelon and Weston Davis all stood out as powerful and physical lineman in their positional matchups with the defensive linemen.
The offense as a whole has seen lots of change within this past season with the NFL Draft, Transfer Portal, and new signings going into the 2025 season.
With the loss of offensive weapons Will Campbell, Emery Jones Jr., Kyren Lacy, and more who played heavily into the offensive success last season, a new tide turning for the LSU Offense. There are big shoes to be filled.
In his second year as the Offensive Coordinator for LSU Football, Coach Joe Sloan acknowledges this, and is ready to showcase his new look offense.
Maybe the position group with the most excitement surrounding it is the receiving room. With the additions of Barion Brown and Destyn Hill with the retainment of Aaron Anderson, Zavion Thomas, and Chris Hilton Jr. and more the receiving core has some serious depth
“It’s about the core of receivers and I think that’s the thing that makes it exciting…they love playing with each other, they love getting after it, they’re attacking it and that’s what we want to see..”
The group will be on full display at LSU Football’s open practice on April 12th in Tiger Stadium
