Corbin Cooper was arrested July 15 on 34 charges of child pornography. Cooper was arrested at his home in Ouchita Parish by the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce (ICAC).
The arrest follows a multi-month long investigation prompted by an online tip from the Nation Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) of possible “illegal materials”. Following this tip the ICAC found that Cooper was the suspect involved, and confirmed that the material being shared was child pornography.
Though the arrest has been made, the ongoing investigation could lead to more possible charges according to the Ouchita Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The office released this statement in addition to Cooper’s mugshot:
“If anyone suspects in appropriate material being possed by an individual, they can contact NCMEC or Crime Stoppers with the information. It is [Attorney General’s] Office and [Ouchita Parish Sheriff’s Office’s] priority to protect the children of the state of Louisiana.”
