Unranked LSU Soccer had a last-minute 1-0 upset against No. 21 Wisconsin in a hot and humid Thursday night match up.
It was a long and scrappy game. The Tigers entered the game 3-2-0, and the Badgers are 4-1-0.
The first half of the game was defense heavy on both sides of the ball. Both teams only shot a combined 3 shots, compared to the 8 shots taken in the second half.
The only goal from the night came from forward Ava Galligan in the last minute of play. Makenna Dominguez assisted and gave Galligan the perfect set up to headbutt the ball for a goal.
The Tigers will have two days of rest until they are back at it against UC Davis on Sunday at the LSU Soccer Complex.
