School is in session, football season has started and Halloween is right around the corner. All of these things can only mean one thing: autumn is officially here. What better way to ring in the season than with a pumpkin-flavored drink?
For over two decades, pumpkin spiced lattes have made waves each autumn, becoming so relevant that they are instead referred to as merely “PSLs.” However, hit drive-thru coffee brand 7 Brew has shifted the narrative this year; per their new seasonal flavors, it is a pumpkin pie fall.
Included on 7 Brew’s Pumpkin Pie featured menu are the cinnamon roll mocha, pumpkin blondie and pumpkin roll shake.
Made for cinnamon lovers, the mocha is perfect for a cozy autumn vibe. With a smooth blend of brown sugar cinnamon and white chocolate syrups, it feels handcrafted specifically for chilly weather. The overall flavor is subtle enough to grab as an early morning pick-me-up or an after-school sip.
Where the cinnamon roll mocha is sugar and spice perfection, the pumpkin blondie is a smooth transition from summer to fall. The drink includes brown sugar cinnamon, white chocolate and pumpkin pie syrups. If you’re not a huge fan of the typical fall flavors but want to celebrate spooky season, this is undoubtedly the drink for you!
On the other hand, the pumpkin roll shake is the embodiment of Jack-o’-lanterns, changing leaves and bonfires. With a smooth pumpkin taste, this shake is the perfect sweet treat for fall. Unlike most of North America, Louisiana doesn’t see any drastic decreases in temperature come autumn. This blended drink is a great compromise for getting into the seasonal spirit while staying cool in the heat.
Additional drinks featured on 7 Brew’s fall menu are the salted pumpkin macchiato, magic pumpkin breve, pumpkin snickerdoodle mocha and pumpkin house blend. Every fall flavor can be ordered sugar-free, as well as with alternate milk options.
Early this summer, 7 Brew opened a new Baton Rouge location off of Burbank, making the sensational company more accessible to LSU students than ever. This location is open from 5 a.m. to midnight from Sunday to Thursday and from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Arkansas-born company launched in 2017 and has since opened over 450 locations. Known for its vivid branding, gregarious customer service and expansive menu, the coffee company saw a surge in popularity in 2023 that still has yet to die down.
7 Brew Coffee has become a favorite spot for many, and these new fall-themed flavors are sure to continue that trend.
