Two people were injured in a shooting at the intersection of Highland Road and Dalrymple Drive.

Officials confirmed the two people were taken to a hospital.

LSUPD dispatched officers around 8:30 p.m. and sent out the initial all-clear message at 9:33 p.m. Officials say there is no current threat to campus but have closed off the intersection and asked people to avoid to area.

LSUPD gave the all clear at 10:12 p.m. and has lifted to street closures.

The Baton Rouge Police Department and LSUPD are currently investigating the incident.
