After two people were shot on LSU’s campus last weekend during the homecoming game, Gov. Jeff Landry has ordered Louisiana State Police to enhance security for the LSU v. Texas A&M game on Oct. 25.
In a post on X on Monday, Landry said the Louisiana Police will be working with LSUPD, Baton Rouge Police Department and East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office to improve security and safety protocols.
“We will continue assessing the security to ensure all future games are safe,” Landry said. “The level of violence and disruption will not be tolerated.”
There has not been any more information related to the shooting released.
